Words So Obvious Were Never Said.

Here goes the story of two broken souls and one life time
The best of friends, still however hiding the truth with a lie
The girl keeping a secret locked deep within her own heart
Little did she know the boy was keeping the same one, tearing him apart


Always together, everyone would always say
No use to tell them they'll figure it out oneday
What wasn't obvious to thereselves
Was obvious to everyone else


That girl would lay on the ground staring at the sky
Consumed with thoughts of him, and she didn't know why
Taking flowers, counting the petals....he loves me, he loves me not...
Praying for him, but she realized that was more then alot.....


That boy never knew what to say
Getting more and more tounge tied everyday
All he ever really wanted was her
But was afraid it would never be like before


Who knew loving someone could make things so akward
To afraid to lose what they had, they never moved forward
Neither could sleep at night, for reality was better then a dream
They waited till the end of forever, or maybe thats just how it seemed


She could never love me.....this feeling couldn't go both ways, he thought
Little did he know that his smile and embrace is all she drempt about
He could never love me, she'd so Naively say
But he loved her more with each passing day


Years went by each left there home town, still staying in touch
Two best friends tied at the heart by a harmless highschool crush
Every weekend they met up at that old coffee shop
Knowing it was easier to face love then to try to stop.....


One weekend the girl decided not to go
Work that week had been slow
That boy lost intrest, knowing it would never be
If they would of opened there eyes...who knows what each would of been able to see

Many more years passed, the girls dream became real, now a poet and no less a writer
She decided hands down, how things worked out 5 years before was better
She says she no longer loves him, little did she know in everything she wrote
Clues of him lingered, his smile, his eyes, his love, and every word he spoke


That boy later became the singer of a famous band
Still carrying the memories of her in the palm of his hand
He had it all, and anyone he wanted, but he still wanted her
He hated his self for not seeing if they could of been more....


A girl lying upon cold tile looking for insperation, that could fix her broken heart
A boy lying upon a bed, knowing one wrong move could rip his heart apart
The girl knows it's worth the risk, she still loved him after all those years
The boy gets up knowing it's finally time to face what he'd always feared


A car speeding to that girls road
A car speeding towards that boys road
Two cars crash halfway
Only love destroying another perfect day


Two bodies found laying on the blacktop all alone
Hand in hand finally to find there true home
And what they said in there final moments one will forever guess
Maybe they said it all, maybe nothing but a final kiss


And me I somehow always knew
There last words where I love you

The only thing i have in mind is : Wow...
